We are seeking an organised and proactive professional to join our Research and Innovation Directorate as IAA Programme Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the University's research impact ambitions, helping researchers translate their work into meaningful benefits for society, culture, policy, the economy and the environment.

Reporting to the Research Impact Manager, you will manage Royal Holloway's Impact Acceleration Accounts (IAAs). We currently hold an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) IAA for 2023-28.

You will oversee funding calls, support impact projects, monitor budgets and reporting, and provide advice to academics seeking to maximise the impact of their research.

Working closely with academics, external partners and professional services colleagues, you will coordinate a portfolio of impact activities, organise events and training, and ensure effective delivery of the programme in line with funder and university requirements.

About you

You will be an organised and collaborative programme manager with an understanding of research impact and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

- A strong understanding of research impact.
- Experience of project or programme management.
- Experience of budget management and reporting.
- Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
- The ability to build effective relationships with academics, external partners and colleagues across the University.
- Experience of supporting collaborative projects, funding schemes, events or training activities.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to supporting the delivery of high-quality research impact activities.
