The University is seeking an innovative and student focused International Mobility Manager to lead the development and delivery of our international mobility and global opportunities portfolio.
Reporting to the Placement and Opportunities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding access to international experiences, ensuring students from all backgrounds can benefit from opportunities that enhance their academic success, personal development and graduate outcomes. The role will lead the University's mobility programmes, short-term international opportunities, virtual exchanges, international work placements, summer schools and global partnerships.
You will oversee the full student journey, from recruitment and selection through to funding, risk management, welfare support and programme evaluation, ensuring an excellent and inclusive student experience. Working closely with academic colleagues, professional services teams and international partners, you will drive growth in participation, particularly amongst widening participation groups, while ensuring compliance with funding, regulatory and governance requirements.
We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong track record in international mobility, student opportunities, partnerships or related higher education programmes. You will bring excellent stakeholder management skills, a commitment to equity and inclusion, and the ability to use data and insight to drive continuous improvement and impact.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of global experiences at Middlesex and help ensure more students can develop the skills, confidence and international outlook needed to thrive in a global graduate labour market.
Key responsibilities and opportunities include:
- Lead a strategically important area of student success and internationalisation.
- Manage flagship programmes including the Turing Scheme.
- Shape opportunities that improve graduate outcomes and social mobility.
- Work within a diverse, inclusive and globally connected university community.
Benefits include generous annual leave, flexible working arrangements and a wide range of staff benefits.
